2月23日晚，都灵萨兹-杜克斯雪场见证了一个激情时刻――中国选手韩晓鹏力压群雄，夺得了自由式滑雪男子空中技巧项目金牌，书写了中国冬奥会新的历史。这是中国自1994以来，在自由式滑雪空中技巧项目中获得的首枚冬奥会金牌。

报道中的aerials在这里是体育术语"空中技巧"，由形容词aerial衍生而来。Aerial原意是"of, in, or caused by the air"（在空中的；与空气有关的），举个例子：Petrels are the most aerial of birds（海燕是最善于翱翔的鸟）。由此，我们可得到一系列与"空中"有关的词组：如 "特技飞行"，可以用aerial acrobatics来表达，acrobatics意为"杂技"；军事上的"空战"可译为aerial combat.
