Di Anhe was retained as head coach of Chinese men’s volleyball team.
China’s General Administration of Sport has approved Di Anhe remaining as head coach of the men’s volleyball team.
The 51-year-old was elected as the head of the national team in 2001, and led China to runner-up in the Asian Championship in 2003.
Di will guide the newly formed men’s squad to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Meanwhile, American Arie Selinger, who led the Dutch men’s team to a silver medal at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, was appointed as the counselor coach of the Chinese team. |
